Hi
Spyware Doctor should work fine on Windows 7, as Windows 7 is primarily based on Windows Vista. Please let us know how you get on.

Hi
I've got a copy of Windows 7 32bit running. SD 32bit works, although I get a false positive (shown below). It looks and sounds just like Vista, but UAC in Windows 7 is lots quieter. I have also noticed a massive performance improvement. I'm running it in a Virtual PC using just 1GB of RAM and it runs just fine. I could hardly run Vista in a Virtual PC!
With regards to the false positive. The text file is a record from a-squared antimalware which I tried on Windows 7 briefly, no threat (the file is attached).
As a side note, Spyware Doctor is not recognised by Windows 7 as an antispyware program. I understand that Microsoft may still be negotiating this so not an issue now.

Thanks Matt. This is a definite FP which we are working on now. A fix will be available via the SU shortly.

It's near enough none existent now, it's actually very smooth, the whole thing is alot faster, I have to be honest I was a massive hater of vista, and I’m still not overly keen on windows 7, I still can't see the point when xp works so well for me, but that might be because I haven't really used it much.
All in all it's alot nicer and faster then vista, also haven’t come into any problems with drivers or any incompatibilities.

Hi Guys,
We have been testing SDv 6.0.0.386 and also with the newer version SD v6.1.0.433 beta on Windows 7, including detection testing and everything is running nicely. We will continue to test this further and if we do come across any bugs, we will implement fixes. Any feedback you can provide will be greatly appreciated and will be passed onto the developers to investigate.
SD v6.1.0.433 beta (available on the beta testers forum) also has no problems with Windows 7. If you would like to try SDv 6.1.0.433, send myself a PM and I will arrange this for you.

Spyware doctor
Spyware Doctor run fine in windows 7, but the Anti Virus in the internet security is not detected by windows 7. I ran Avira Antivir alone with PC tools internet security and PC tools showed no conflict with it ! It should have detected the second anti virus. in windows 7 PC Tools Internet Security shows all is working. But Avira is shown as the anti virus in use.
