I want to know if anybody has the answer to my problem with PC ToolKit. I posted an enquirey in January 12. The problem is privacy scan gets to 60% then takes about 2 hours to finish.
I have in the last week purchased a new laptop.Samsung RF511 Intel I5 running windows 7.
This is a brand new machine,so it can't be the laptop.
I have continually tried to get info from PC Tools, very little info comes back if they reply it doesn't help.
Thanks for taken the time to read the above.
Regards Tony

Hi Tony,
This problem persists with the latest version 2.0.1.534? Could you post a screenshot of the freeze on 60 %?
Best Regards

Hello Tony,
Can you also please specify which privacy scan you are running? There are a few different types. Also please verify what version of PT you are using. If you are using an older build than what Chomas mentioned, you can download and install the latest one from our website using your current license (provided that your license is still valid).
Regards,
Magician

Hi Magician
I have unistalled PCTOOL and installed latest version2.01.534,engine 41023.
I then ran a full bleach scan started at 0754 -finished 13.15 0n 11/5/12.That means it took 5 hours 15 mins to complete.
That is not PREFOREMANCE.I Have yet to finish a full privacy scan(BROWSING OR THIRD PARTY) as after two hours it has taken to long.As I said this problem started in January 12,it can't be the machine its brand new, therefore it can only be the program.I paid for a new subscription and upgraded to PCTOOL but as of yet it has failed to operate fully.
I am running a Samsung RF511 i5 windondows 7 64 bit.If you want more info please fully explain in an email.
Regards Tony

You said it is a Full Bleach.. this bleaching process takes several hours and is not in anyway a problem with the performance. The higher the disk capacity the longer time it will take.
You can disable the Bleach by going to Privacy> Bleach Disks then untick the green "I" to turn it OFF (gray "o")
