Need Thunderbird contacts

My mobo crashed and I need to save my contacts from thunderbird. I can get to Thunderbirf in the Program files, is there a way to extract my contacts?

Hi LennyBerm,

To import addressbooks created by data import, this extension provides functionality to import from .mab files, something not available in the basic Thunderbird installation.

To install a Thunderbird extension do the following:
Right click the download link on the extension's home page and choose "Save Link As...". Then, in Thunderbird, go to Tools->Addons->Extensions tab->click on the "Install" button. Navigate to the just downloaded .xpi file and select it. Click on the "Open" button. The installation will now begin. You will need to close and reopen Thunderbird to complete the install.

what extention am I looking for. The only one there was Test Pilot. I have TB 12 and the MFFAB file was for 3.0, I downloaded it but can't get it into TB
