    Default Bluescreen / Malware Problem

Sometime after I purchased a brand new Toshiba laptop I began experiencing sudden Windows' system failures which prompts my laptop to suddenly restart. At this time, I cannot even add system updates to Windows because it would cause Windows to become 'unstable'. Also, when I open PCTIS File and Registry Tool it shows my security folder to be red: Screenshot. I don't believe it's supposed to show it being red? So maybe there's an infection there? When I manually shut down my computer it has trouble shutting down due to a program running in the background, but Windows doesn't show what program this is -- I assume it to be the virus? After every shut down Windows has also given me the report of the cause of the shut down. I will be sure to document and post those here when the chance to retrieve the information comes up again. One such report basically says that my laptop has a virus, the other says that Windows has pretty much become corrupt in some areas. I've run Intelligaurd and a Full Scan of my computer for all files, multiple times, but the virus never comes up.

Here is one of the Windows reports:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: a
    BCP1: 0000000000000000
    BCP2: 0000000000000002

    BCP4: FFFFF80002AD5D75
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:

    C:\Users\GiinJoww\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-55629-0.sysdata.xml

Thank you for your time and help.

    Hi GiinJoww,

Generally Checkdisk (chkdsk) method should help, and solve the problem with the screen of death.
Can You please do this? :
START-->Run-->cmd click Enter, and paste command below:
chkdsk C: /F Windows may want to restart the computer to perform the scan. Choose Y yes and press Enter.

    Best Regards

The red sections in File and Registry tool indicates a "Secure" section of your registry. Sections normally not accessible by 3rd party applications. This is normal and expected.

I understand that your machine does not shut down properly. Can you please shut down PCTIS and see if that helps with the shutting down issue? To fully exit from PC Tools Internet Security, please right click on the PC Tools Internet Security icon in the notification area (next to the clock on the Windows taskbar) and select "Shutdown" from the menu that appears.

    Hi GiinJoww,

In addition to the helpful suggestions posted by Hermit and chomas, could you also upload the memory dump file that you mention in your first post?

You will need to zip (compress it) first before uploading. Windows 7's builtin Compression utility or 7 Zip are good ways to do this.

PC Tools may be able to analyze the dump file to determine what the probable cause of the blue screen was.

    Thanks.

Alright, the dump files (I found more than one) won't compress. I've used both WinRar and 7 zip but Windows refuses to allow this action to pass. I've tried taking ownership of the files and even pasting it to the desktop to try there, but it still won't let. I'll search around for a way to get around this and update everyone as soon as possible.

[edit] Compressing problem solved -- uploading .rar file.

Here is where you can download the compressed file: click me.

Thanks for the dump files GinnJoww

Have you checked if your machine shuts down properly with PC Tools Internet Security shut down?

    No problem~

No, I have not. I didn't know there was a feature in PCTIS, I will look for and run this operation.
