Exclamation Will Windows 7 System Restore Methods Deactivate PCTIS?

I just bought a new laptop and to my utter and complete horror Windows 7 is already beginning to fail. :C This really makes me sad, considering that's how my previous laptop went out, and I'm gun-ho about attempting to save this laptop manually -- before sending it to the manufacturers, if needed. The only thing keeping me from doing this is that I fear in the process PCTIS will be unistalled and deactivated. I purchased the standard PCTIS and have already used it on three computers (my laptop included), so if PCTIS is lost and I can't reactivate it somehow I'd have to buy it all over again (something I'd rather not do and don't have the money for at this time).

So, my question is, will system restore methods ruin my PCTIS subscription and can I reactivate it without buying it again?

Thank you in advance for your time, efforts, and consideration. I really do appreciate it!

    Hi Giin,
Sure. You can install IS how many You want, but if you're using System restore, better is always reinstalling Pc Tools IS.

I'm sorry, but your answer hasn't helped me at all. I know I can install PCTIS as many times as I want, but I'm trying to keep my current subscription valid. If I system restore or manufacturer restore will I have to buy PCTIS all over? Meaning, will my computer still be registered with my online account information? Again, that is my question. Thanks anyways for your help.

It should be just fine. However, if you do run into a problem, please PM support and tell them what happened and they will be able to assist you further.
