After installing Threatfire 4.7.0.53 on my Windows 7 64-bit OS, my tax preparation software "WISO Steuer-Sparbuch 2011" does not start anymore. Its process shows up in Task Manager for some seconds, then disappears. Threatfire displays no messages. No re-configuration of Threatfire helps, I have to uninstall Threatfire.
The WISO support has affirmed this behavior.

Hi Mikołaj,
thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately, like MS Office, the number 2011 is a part of the software name. I need to buy and install (in parallel) new software each year for each income tax preparation. The complete software version number would be "18 (Build 7229)", that's current.
Best Regards,
Markus

Is there any log mechanism that shows what activities were blocked by ThreatFire?

You can check the "Threat Control" and "Quarantine" for any detected items.
Also, try Suspending Threat Fire and see if that helps. You can "Suspend" ThreatFire by right-clicking on the system tray icon and select "Suspend"
If that still doesn't help, Disable the Threatfire Service via Services.msc in Safe Mode.
That should help us isolate a few possible causes of this problem."Anyone can achieve their fullest potential, who we are might be predetermined, but the path we follow is always of our own choosing.
