Dear PCTools,
Now that quite some other companies entered the Mac-market with their own products, I started to test a few antivirus-programs again. I also tried iAntivirus, like I did a few years ago and I really like it, again.
It's simple, doesn't use much CPU and especially very little RAM. But... it looks like it's abandoned... Is that true?
I can't find some new threats in your database and the last time a new version of iAntivirus came out, was in 2009...
I now run it on Lion and except for one problem (I saved a system profile-log), with iavd running wild, while I let it only run a scan manually, it works great. So it would be very sad, if PCTools discontinued iAntivirus.
While it's not on the online list of apps discontinued by PCTools, it looks like it... Can you please tell us?
I also offered to help translate it into Dutch. My offer still stands.
Thanks,
JeePee

NO answer...
Well, it seems so. It has been abandoned. Too bad, but now I know I have to look elsewhere.
Thanks.

It's probably because of the problem with the OS X Lion. The real-time protection of iAV doesn't work on the said version of the MAC OS since then the development seem to have come to a halt.
