I've been working with some video in Windows Movie Maker, and the sound doesn't seem to be importing with the picture. Nor do I seem to be able to add any music to the video. It won't import from my iTunes or from an original CD. A 19-second clip of a drag race with no sound isn't so bad, but a seven-minute walk-through of a car show display really needs something playing under it.
I'm sure the music not importing is a DRM security issue, but I don't understand why the sound from the original video wouldn't play.
The video is being imported from a Sony DCH-HC62 MiniDV, using USB because I don't have an i.LINK card. The system is running Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3.
Anyone have any ideas?
