    Angry Net Pumper

Ever since i stupidly downloaded this onto my PC, i have been plagued by anoying adware. I have bought several spyware software packages and deleted numerous potential problem files, registry entries, cookies etc but to no avail.
I would be grateful of any help as i am going mad and the misses is giving me no end of stick.

Have you tried performing a Scan with Spyware Doctor, to see if this will detect it?

NetPumper is a download manager that also installs a number of adware components with it such as cydoor, Save!, ClockSync, and WhenU Toolbar.

This is the problem, i have ran several spy/adware tools including spyware doctor amongst others and they have removed numerous entries with regards to Net Pumper and Anti leech plugins, but i am still plagued by pop up ads. I am at a loss as what to do.
    cheers Col

    Hi,

    Name: Netpumper
Description: Netpumper installs a number of adware components with itself such as lop.com, Save! and WhenU Toolbar. This results in occasional advertisements and pop ups on your computer.
Removal: This infection can be removed using Spyware Doctor.

If after you have performed a scan with the latest version of Spyware Doctor and you are still infected with spyware/malware, you can send a malware log to PC Tools.

    Default Problem Solved

After weeks of problems and purchasing several ad/spyware removal programs i think my problem is solved.
It seems as though a programme from ZONE MEDIA had installed itself on my PC and this was acting as the source of all my pop up ads. After removing this programme i am so far (touch wood) now adware free.

Ok well I use BitDefender AntiVirus Plus which initially blocked the adware/spyware/virus/whatever you want to call it, but it didn't remove it.

Very simple ways of removing (doesn't require spyware removal programs):

Reboot, and start in safemode, find the folder where the adware/spyware/virus/whatever you want to call it is. Then delete it...

Can't do the above? Google "Unlocker", download & install. Delete the containing folder of the virus using the program.

I used unlocker and it solved my problem
