OK I have this annoying [censored] when i boot windows
When I am botting windows, a black screen comes out saying my driver details/soundcard details and then badfilename and then some more [censored] and then boots windows! it really makes my boot much slower and i was wondering if i could get rid of this! I did not have it before but i had to play with my msconfig (autoexec.bat file) because of the new hardware i added to my pc! I might have deleted maybe an incorrect line or maybe need to fix something ect plz help me out! this is what it says in my autoexec.bat file (EXACTLY LIKE THIS! THE ENTER LINES ARE JUST AS THEY ARE [Blank lines])
------Below this line is exactly whats in my autoexec

max1pc,

Remove every line in the autoexec.bat except for these:
@ECHO OFF
@C:\PROGRA~1\DRSOLO~1\ANTI-V~1\GUARD.COM /SILENT /MODE=DISK

I'm assumming that line and path are correct...Dr Solomon's Virus Scanner?

Then you don't need that line either. Simply edit the autoexec.bat file so it's 0 bytes.

Are u guys SURE that its ok to edit it like u say? I am runing windows 98 and its not SE!

Then just rename autoexec.bat to autoexec.old and config.sys to config.old.

Problems...highly unlikely...rename them back.
