In IE6, I get <a target="_blank" href=http://lxmcc.homestead.com/files/imsane.jpg>this</a>.
In the top menu in the tools section, right above Internet Options, I have a link to ICQ. I've heard other people say they have a link to MSN messanger instead in the same place. I want to remove this link, as I dont want others using IE having access to my ICQ and I dont want to put a password on it. I've been trying to solve this problem for a long time, but could never do it. Maybe you can.

I am NOT registry savvy, so if it possible, I would really like step-by-step instructions.

Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it. I love this site!

Open the registry and navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

Remove the subkey(Yellow folder in the left pane) for ICQ. Like this:
Click on the key in the left, look in the right. When you find ICQ you'll know it. This should also remove the ICQ Button from the toolbar if there is one.

Don't forget to back up before you remove anything.
