I am trying to make my machine logon to a Windows NT network using the same username and password every time. I do not want to have to type it in each time. Is there a way to do this either by using a program or editing the registry? i would appreciate it, thanks.

You do realise that if you do this, anyone who turns on your machine has access to the network, don't you?

You can accomplish this by using TweakUI/PowerToys... but, as the other comment points out- It's not a good idea to do this where other people may access the PC. IE: place of employment.

In my organization an end-user used TweakUI to enable this feature. When another user logged on to the computer, we received Windows Protection Errors. Use caution.

That's why any network administrator with half a brain disables TweakUI

Some users like to decide what they put on their machine--especially if it's a home/work laptop. Such users are the ones who should document any changes they make to the registry, or in short, use their brain.
I secretly enjoy when my MIS guy gets on my machine--he never knows where anything is!
;-) Regards...
