capture problems

I have a lj1000 that prints from USB001. I set up windows to share my printer. I need to capture lpt1 as the the lj1000 for a software product that I am using.
When I try to capture the port windows states you can't capture to your own computer. Does anyone know a way around this, if there is even one!

Is this in DOS?

Capture LPT when you are using USB? I don't understand that.

I will try to explain, I want to capture lpt1 meaning I want to redirect everything that would be printed from the lpt1 port on the pc to the USB001 port. The software is an emulator that is running a program on a Unix Server. The software running on the Unix box has a printer setup that prints from the local port of the pc. I am running in an NT4.0 environment.
