Hello

If anyone has been able to change the windows splash at bootup please explain how you did it.
I have created a logo.sys and added the file to the C:\ dir and it does not show at boot.
I have also changed C:\windows\logos.sys for shut down. Changing that simply shows nothing on shutdown. I then replaced to orginal logos.sys and it appeared on shut down.
Been searching and surfing to find the answer with no luck. Microsoft support pages and other sites have not had the answer.
Thanks for your help.

Did you make the logos in the proper format? They need to be 320x400 256 color bmp files with the file extension changed to sys. If you create your own start with 320x300 and then strech them to 320x400 and save as 256 color format otherwise they will be distorted when they are displayed.
