How do I stop it from saying "It is now safe to turn off your computer" when I shut it down? I want it to shut down by itself..

Which version of Windows are you running? Disable Fast Shutdown would be in MSCONFIG>advanced. Uncheck that.

I'm using Win2k...so won't work. Thanks, but anyone else know how to do it with Win2k?

do you know if your motherboard/bios supports it?

Win2k is quite picky it what it supports.
