Scanner Shipped with Virus On CD

Just to let you all know if you have a Acer ScanPrisa 640U with a CD disc part number MiraCd 90.61521.340 and the CD cover says P/N: 60.61521.071 it has a virus on it.. It is called Backdoor-GJ after downloading the lastest virus scan dat files It detected a virus..... After doing some research I found out the virus had not been active yet and did no harm.... I located the file on my backup drive looked at the date and time stamp on the files it was uncompressed off the CD that came with the scanner....... also in the property box for the file it says ADOBE as company

The file ends up in the c:\program files\comon files\Adobe\ConsumerImaging\Backup.exe

mcafee detected it 4.0.4168 with scan engine 4.1.50
