hi all,,i have a prob,,i was installing windows xp and it was doing its restart comp thing for 1st time,,or it says i could do it manually,,press escape
to save time i did ,,, now it wont start says NTLDR is missing ,,i cant even boot with floppy ,,but have a bootable cd-rom that i know works,,cause my friend used it b4,,he on holiday and cant help...any 1 know what NTLDR is ,,how can i go about this fix,,,thanx all

It's just a set of boot instructions for NT based OSes (like Windows XP). Chances are there was some kind of an error during installation. Boot from the Windows XP CD and resume the installation. It might be necessary to reinstall it all together or you can try selecting the repair Windows installation option if there is one.
