Remove/Change Win2K login screen and dialog boxes

Hi all,

I wish to change the login screen of Windows 2000 (Professional). I also wish to remove or change the dialog boxes (splash messages) which do come at the time of windows startup and shutdown. Kindly suggest the way to do it.
