cable modem and cdrw help

well 1st i got a cable modem and its mad slow
could u help me with some stuff to speed it up
avrage download 50-80 kb/s
also i have a yamaha cdrw with a 2 meg bufffer and i am getting buffer underrun errors i was told i can put something in my regestry to stop this but i dont know hat to put in thanx

Re: save as a .reg file. Double Click..reboot..you should see some speed enhancements...If not...I have 2 programs for you which may help. Email me at brimstonenite@home.com. Also, speeding up cable modem will usually result in slower performance..and you will lag more..I know this because I have cable as well.
