What the hell is that thing and why does it keep not responding? I tried deleting it and it seems alright at first but after a few minutes window will freeze. Then I restore it back but it still not responding. I think it's deaf.

SYMPTOMS
When you start the Dr. Watson utility in Windows Millennium Edition (Me), you may see the following message on the Diagnosis tab:

If the Taskbar is behaving strangely, try exiting Multimedia background task support module.

Module Name: Mmtask.tsk
Description: Multimedia background task support module
Version: 4.90.3000
Product: Microsoft Windows
Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation

You will only see this message if Mmtask.tsk is running as a task.



CAUSE
Mmtask.tsk loads Minmm.dll, which hooks the shell to handle audio controls on multimedia keyboards or other HID devices.



STATUS
This behavior is by design.

You may need to update your keyboard drivers I am using a generic driver cause the one that HP had for it caused problems when I log off while I was still connected to the net ---- the only program that i have left is adsubtract that crashes when I log off while still connected to the net I have a feed back in on adsubtract......
