Ok, can you guess which version of windows am I running?

its not xp

a. icons arent alpha blended
b. the dots around "My Computer" should not be there, because win 2000/xp doesnt show that.
c. the windows icon next to "Start" should be different.
d. the msn messenger icon should be different.
e. aol instant messenger icon should look better.
f. the "show desktop" icon in the quick launch bar should look different.

if you didnt change the color scheme, its windows me. if you did change it, its windows 98.

Actually, it's windows 2000, with xp skin, no that i got the look it's definatly going to be a while before i upgrade. ha ha

you should upgrade. winxp is alot faster than win2k

its alot faster on my 200Mhz comp. that use to have win2k

64 megs. i have the final corporate.

it boots up in under 30 seconds, M$ word starts in 2 seconds, AOL in 3. It runs about 1.5x to 2x faster on average than win2k.

Overall, it is alot faster for me. But it boots and shut downs alot slower comparing to Windows 98.

Start up on my 400Mhz, 128RAM, in about 30 seconds, MS Word in about 1 1/2 seconds, however shut down is painfully slow!! XP is much better than 2000, now I dont have to dual-boot to run work software and games!! XP all the way!!

I need to have 2 OSs because many of my games do not work on XP... I tried to find out what was the problem and I gave up.... my guess: display drivers. ATI refuses to put XP drivers up on their webpage, and I couldnt find them on my CD.

<font color=blue> XP has smart boot, overtime it will learn what and what not to load when it boots, so it will boot faster after time. And games should work, have you tried the compatability option? </font color=blue>

Yup, Ive tried everything. All games I have should work with XP.... they just don't on my system.
