Hi everybody !!

I just want to know smth : "suppose i have a network working perfectly ... and suddenly i've got a hard drive problem in one of the network Computers and that PC is to Slow ...very Slow ....my question is : If the Computer is Still connected to the network (internet connection for instance) will it be possible that the same PC will affect the speed of the network ??

I think my question was clear (in general) and it's as i sais (internet thing)

No it wouldn't. The data packets from the source pc are destined only for the "slow" pc's mac address (nic). Even if packets are dropped at the nic and need to be resent tcpip accounts for that.

Just out of curiosity...

did you try to isolate the slow Lan without the slow pc connected?

Yes I did, and it worked, Strange no ?? ...i do understand what ur saying about the mac @ddress
Here's what happened:" my internet on the lan was too slow, i called my ISP and i've been told that everything was ok there ..i've isolated the Computer which was too slow (Hard drive problem) and it did work ... what u think ??
