Disk Network Error

We're using Win NT 4.0 here in our company. A message saying "DISK NETWORK ERROR" prompted on almost all workstations connected to the server usually in the afternoon. This only happens if the user is running the application done in ACCESS '97. Restarting the PC will resolve the problem. I'm sure physical connection is OK 'coz when I tried running other applications that we have w/o restarting the PC first, it runs. And when I try to click on the Network Neighborhood Icon, the PC can still locate other PC's connected to the network.
Please help me solve this problem. Thanks.
