Hi!

I would like to know a good way to have a solution that make it possible to install W2000/NT4/W9x incl. some specific software (Netscape, Acrobat Reader etc.) smoothly.

We've tried sysprep with Windows2000 (deployed by Ghost) but that do not seem to work very well. We had some bugs and a couple of issues. And all the software do not have the same drivers for HDD controllers and so on. There are both laptops and desktops.

Is there a easier way? Does not matter wheter it is a third part solution or RIS or whatever.

* one image (or similar) for all computers, diffrent HW
* Must include certain software
* Would appreciate if it is possible to include some drivers and/or upgrade the applications

Please advise

using sysprep usually works quit well providing the image you are crating is going on to the new PCs that have identical HALs, ACPI support and mass storage device, if not then you will have to make new images for each different hardware configuration.
