I run Win2k Pro...
On my DESKTOP...
When I double click MY DOCUMENTS, MY COMPUTER, MY NETWORK, RECYCLE BIN, or any Folders that are on mydesktop they do not load. Instead the screen goes blank for 3 seconds and then refreshes.

This also happens in My START menu when I click any of the options under SETTINGS including CONTROL PANEL.

How do I fix this?
I tried the steps at this link... but it didnt fix the problem. http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q221/1/53.ASP

I found another person that has this problem... check out our discussion at

Please help,
Kyle

Have you tried using SFC in Win2K? It helps repair system files that may be damaged by other program installs. It could be worth a shot in your case. All you have to do is go to START>RUN and type sfc /scanonce
Then hit ok and REBOOT. It will take effect just after the win2k splash screen pops up. You may need your win2K CD handy. Let me know if you need help.
