Win2000 boot logging

Is there any general guide to figuring out what is going on in the Win2000 boot logs?

My boot process was bogging about halfway through, so I enabled boot logging. Looking at the boot log revealed that there were things that were failing to load, but their names were so cryptic I have no clue what to try and fix, if anything.

why not cut-and-paste some lines of those failed items - may help to explain.
