mandatory background image

anyone know how to set a mandatory background image (W2K). I don't want to use mandatory profiles, I just want the background to be the same for all users. I tried setting it in the reg but no luck as of yet.

You should be able to set it in the registry value "Wallpaper" at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]. You could also set it under the same key at [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT] so it becomes the default.

The use <a target="_blank" href=http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/169/>this tweak</a> to stop the user being able to change it.
