How do I disable Windows Update in Win XP (Final)

I'm getting tired about seeing that blinking Windows Update icon in my system tray. Does anyone know how it can be disabled?

Go to Systems Properties and click the Automatic Updates tab, then select Turn off automatic updating.

Also, in your 'Services' there is another entry, you should disable that so it wont start acting up. Control Panel | Performance | Admin Tools | Services.
