REGEDIT.EXE won't run

I can't get REGEDIT to run on my 98SE machine. I tried the unlock patch posted on this site N/G. I am running the Windows automatic registry back-up. I recently loaded Norton Systemworks 2002, but Norton SAYS that that shouldn't be the problem. Any ideas?

what does the error message state when you try to open regedit?

Norton is known you put some kind of lock on regedit, so that minor's can easily get in and change things. I think it renames regedit.exe to regeditn.exe, so try running that. Good luck.
