Big Annoyance. Help Moi?

I'm hoping someone is familiar enough with WinMe/Win2k W/IE6 in here today to help with this annoyance. Whenever I drag a file to a folder to move it, I drag the file to the folder and a contex box comes up. Ok Fine. But the focus of the highlighted destination folder reverts back to the source folder so I cannot see for sure if the file will goto the destination. That's the best I can explain it. I have moved alot of files to the wrong folder with this and most often to the folder above or below the target folder. Please look at the illustration I provided:
