Hello, I recently edited my registry, and rebooted.

When I rebooted everything had changed, if I double clicked on "My Computer" The find dialog would come up. (So basically MY Computer’s default action was to open FIND instead of open explorer)

When I go into any folder it brings up Winamp, that’s because that was my second action if I were to right click on a folder, like this is what it was before if I right clicked on a folder:

Open [DEFUALT]
Open in Winamp Play list
Add to Zip
[etc...]

Then when I edited the registry it changed to this:

Open in Winamp Play list [DEFUALT]
Add to Zip
[etc...]

I don’t know what part of the registry I edited, I know it wasn't a vital part, but this has really had a big effect because I cant access folders without opening internet explorer and manually typing the path. I also cant access MY COMPUTER.

If you have a answer to this problem I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Drew

For Win98/ME:

This advice is free.

That's why you always backup or export the keys you modify!
