When i restart my PC i get the error message "Invalid entry in MSDOS.SYS setting ORIG-DIAG-BOOT=0"
The system stops and after a cold reboot and scanreg/restore it starts normally the windows98SE that i run on my PC.After trying to restart again ,only hresults in the above problem to repeat itself.
l would like to know if i should change one of the numbers in config.sys,ie.one of the following:device=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\display.sys con=(ega,,1)
Country=044,850,C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\country.sys
Is it one of the numbers 1,850 or 044 that i have to change, or is it something else i should add,or delete from the file???
Or is it OK to erase the line from the MSDOS.sys file?Thats what i tried and also i unchecked the config.sys and the Autoexec.bat from the system config utility.and i restart the windows without these 2 files.It seems to work OK but i want to fix it so it wont become more complicated later.
Your help woul;d be much appreciated.
Best regards
