Please, how can I hide the My Computer Icon in Windows 98 ?

Not sure its possible with a registry "tweak". There is a small program called 'Deskman' which advertises this feature. I have not tried it so the old saying 'caveat emptor' (let the buyer beware).

Thank you, but i can´t find a subkey representing this icon in the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\
Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
