RB0*.CAB Registry Backup Files

Win98 SE automatically backs up the Registry to subject files. How can I view these compressed files? I screwed up a key (HKLM\Network\Logon) and I want to see what it was before..

contents of .CAB files should be visible like a folder; if not, you could get WinZip as addon that lets you look into CAB files).

open the cab file with the proper date, copy file SYSTEM.DAT into a temporary directory (NOT into your Windows system directory !)

Use Regedit from the command line to export the subtree, use the extra option to tell it where you have the copy of system.dat.
