Windows Me Temporary Internet Files Caches
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\Cache\Paths\path1]
Value Name=CacheLimit
Data=0x00032d00 (208128)
I believe this is hexidecimal (decimal in bytes?) and represents 1/4 of my total cache limits since there are four subkeys.
\path2
\path3
\path4
These are my values only, yours of course will be different depending on what you have configured under Settings. I altered the settings and checked the Keys after each adjustment and only the path[x] data values changed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Parent Key to those above and listed below:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\Cache\Paths]
Value Name=Size
Data=24 01 00 00 (my values only, although I am not sure exactly what this value represents)
Does not appear to vary with Temporary File Storage allocation..
Since I am really not conversational with the registy Please take this info with the proverbial "grain of salt".
I am also curious about the key and hope one of members can elucidate me.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by Smitty on 10/04/01 05:28.</FONT></P>
