Hi,
In Internet Explorer where you can type an adress directly: if you type for example google and then press CTRL and ENTER it will automaticly add www. befor google and .com after.
I just installed version 6 of Internet Explorer and since I'm a swede I installed the swedish verion.
And now when I press CTRL and ENTER it types .sv instead of .com
The correct ending for swedish adresses is .se
How do I correct this?
Thanx
/Obelix
PS: Sorry about the misspells, but I'm a swede ;)

Try changing it here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\UrlTemplate

What happens if you click the Search button on IE's toolbar, then click the Customize entry that appears in the left pane. Try changing some settings here and see if it makes any difference. In fact, click the AutoSearch Settings button and change that one.
And what is the name of the key below this one:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search\SearchProperties

I couldn't find anything in the search options.
And at first I didn't have the Search folder in th register.
I did hovever appear when I poked in the search option. And the folder after SearchProperties is named sv
I don't think that is the problem since it wasnt there at start.
I did thou change it to SE and COM it didn't work ither.

Mine is named HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search\SearchProperties\en-us
en-us meaning English-United States, I'm guessing.
