I have this program installed on my computer, and I think it only involves game playing. If I am correct, I would like to uninstall it. I am curious if it affects any other function of the computer. Thanks,

Your information on this "program" is not much. Any authors, any software house mentioned ? Possibly a web address you downloaded the stuff from ???

or

Do you happen to have a driver for the display adapter using a chipset of same name ????

J have done some research for you:

You have a "Creative 3D Blaster Savage4" graphics card in your machine.

The software you see registered is the manufacurers driver software for this graphics (video adapter) card. This driver gives you access to the extra features on the graphics card, that are not supported as standard by the Windows Operating system. The driver vesion installed is "9X" meaning it is for Win9x (not for Win2K).

Recommendation: don't remove this driver, it is essential for good visual output on your display, even when you are not using any games (when playing games, you get superior quality, advanced games will not run without this driver cause they cannot generate the visual effects needed).

Richard: Thank you very much for the information you afforded me. I truly appreciate it, and will act on it. I am at a disadvantage having the most limited knowledge on computers. Plus the fact this machine was inherited and I did not install most of the information on it. Thanks again,
