I currently have a dual-boot system running, Win98 and Linux RH 7.0. This is running on 2 physical hard drives with 1 of them partitioned for Linux - Windows takes the other hard drive and the remainder of the Linux one. (Therefore, I have 3 partitions in total)
What I would like to know is if it's possible to have 3 OSes running i.e. add Windows 2000 to my boot options. if so, how ? and what kind of boot manager will I need ? I currently run LILO which comes with Linux

There are several options for Win2K. It can be installed along with another Windows OS or into a seperate fat32 or ntfs partition. If you repartition your HD with Microsofts fdisk all data will be lost but with other partitioning programs it can be done without losing data. Win2K will install its own boot loader which will boot Win2K and any other Windows OS but not any "nix" partition. When I installed Linux on my lady friends laptop I defragmented her HD and then booted from a Caldera CD and used the Disk Wizzard to repartition her HD and was able to do so without datas loss. I boot Win98 and four Linux partitions using XOSL. I have never used Partition Magic but I understand that it can repartition without data loss. At one time I had Win2K at one time but got rid of it because it would not allow me to install drivers that didn't have a Microsoft signature. I didn't like not being able to have sound or USB ports.

You could also use software like Partition Magic to do the job, it includes boot manager software to control multiple operatings systems.
