HTML PREVIEW ERROR

An Small error, anoying one in windows 98,

You know in Windows 98 when you enter an folder you can have it so that when you press a file, an preview is on the side of the window (goes for Images,html files).
And it works fine for me, untill a day ago.

Now, Images work fine, they are previewed there marvelous, some html files are. BUT NOT ALL!
Some, a lot, on the preview it is the code of the file, I see clearly the code of the html file. NOt how it looks like.
What can this problem be ? and how can i solve it ?

Some files aren't associated with IE (Internet Explore), or you don't have IE installed. If you have netscape only then it could be a problem.

Did you uninstall IE?

If you did then reinstall it.

If "Quick View" is not on the type of file then put it on by going to the options on the file menu, then "Folder Options", then click on "File Types" tab, then find the file type that you wanted to preview, then click on the edit button and find the "Quick View" check box if it is not selected then you need to click on it and check it. Then try a again to see if it previews.

If "Quick View" is not installed then go to control pannels double click on "Add/Remove" and go to "Windows Setup" tab and click on "Accessories" then click the "Properties" button, and look to see if Quick View is Selected if not then select it. Click "Apply" you might have to insert you Win98 CD. Then check if it previews.

If that doesn't work then I'm clueless of what went wrong.

As it works for some html files, and some not, i find it strange..
