I upgraded to windows ME and previously I was running win98 and everything worked now in ME my video card does not work properly everytime I time to run a media (avi, mpeg, windows media, realplayer, etc) my computer locks up everytime, it works fine when I don't run a media file. I have 700mhz amd athlon computer with 288mb of memory and a 20gig hard drive I have a nvidia riva tnt2 agp 32mb graphics card from gateway. I have formatted and reinstalled, flashed the bios, got every update of ME, installed all the latest drivers, and still I get lockups so if anybody have any good ideas please let me know.
