I'm currently rolling out Outlook 2000 to about 1000 workstations (NT4 SP5-6, W2K, Win 9X). We currently use Exchange client & Microsoft Schedule + v7.5
To avoid calendar sharing conflicts we still want to use schedule + for calendars instead of outlook. I have created a custom build of Outlook using the Office Resource Kit (ORK) but I cannot find an option to set Schedule as the default calendar option.
After installing Outlook 2000 you can go to options, preferences, calendar preferences, and tick the box to use schedule as the primary calendar.
Obviously, I don't want to ask the users to do this post installation, as it would be an administrative nightmare. Also, once the testing phase is over we will move to outlook calenders, hence reversing the any changes.
Does anyone know of a reg hack I can incorporate using ORK or a script I could run!
Thanks for any help provided!
