Regedit has changed since I last opened it. The right-side window, usually showing the "name" "type" "data" fields, is completely blank. There are no headers in the grey bar at the top and no data in the white field below.

I downloaded a clean regedit file from the internet and opened it from a different directory. Same problem.

Any ideas what is going on?

This works for Explorer, not sure about regedit.

The columns have been resized to nothing. You need to press [Ctl] + [+] (the plus key on the numeric keypad) to get Windows to automatically resize the columns to fit the Window.

Thanks for responding. I opened regedit and used Cntr + [+] but no change to the display. Only the left-hand pane contains information. The right is still absolutely blank.

Do you have Scroll bar in window..?
If you do grab it and drag to right until data shows.
Then simultaneous [Ctrl] and [+]numeric keypad keys to resize.. Should work like reghakr advised.

I have a horizontal scroll bar only at the bottom of the left pane of the Regedit window. It appears when I close the "split" to the left. It vanishes when the "split" is moved to the right and the left pane is wider than about 30mm.

I have resized the window and resized the left and right panes. Tried Cntl + [+] again. Still absolutely nothing appears in the right pane.

Success.

I used Tweak IU. It has a repair function, one of which is for Regedit.
