I think it will all work out..I changed some settings in my Explorer ( added WinGuides to trusted sites and enabled everything), and haven't had too many problems. There is a post here today from Simon and he's working on things. What's up with you? I have been surfshopping at a Programmer's site and picked up some amazing tools. One is a realtime registry monitor/tracer, displays all calls in realtime...It helped me fix "Stimon" problem, HP had new driver for Scanjet but I wasn't aware how many calls the stillimage manager gets..! Also got Winpeek, gives data in realtime on all windows, and the process calling them, its going to help me a lot. Next move is more memory, although I downloaded Cacheman 5.0, configuerd it and it seems pretty good so far. The only question I would have at the moment is Msvcrt.dll, I am trying to find reghakr's post concerning this item. I have many versions running and perhaps some process will call the outdated version instead of new one. Nothing serious but that's it.
