Using Windows 98 w/IE: My drop down window of the address bar collects URLs that I would like to delete. I can't find them in the registry under typed URLs. Am I looking in the right place? Or just how are they deleted? Thanks,

Have you tried the Internet Options under the Tools menu in IE? Under the General tab, choose "Clear History"...

If I understood your problem correctly this should do the trick....

The easiest way is to right-click on the taskbar, choose properties, click the Start Menu Programs tab and click the Clear button.

This deletes the following keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Doc Find Spec MRU

reghakr: Thank you for your response. Among these deletions are - clipboard file & viewer - task manager - ie repair - weatherbug - plus a few others. Will I have to reinstall any of these for future use? All I really want to rid myself of is the Address Bar History. Thanks,
