AutoComplete Doesn't Work IE5

Lately, I have noticed that my autocomplete function does not work for
passwords. Under Tools-->Internet Options-->Content Tab-->autocomplete Tab,
I have web addresses, forms, user names and passwords on forms, and prompt
me to save passwords all enabled. Also, under Tools-->Internet
Options-->Advanced, I have both Use inline autocomplete for web addresses
and Use inline autocomplete in Windows Explorer enabled. Using Windows 95 Loc
and IE 5 .
I made all the changes in the registry that you have mentioned.
when I entered the name and password in a web page a dialogue box opened and ask me if "I want windows to
remmber this data for the next time ". I pressed on the "YES" button but in the next time nothing happened

If I change under the CPL ---> PASSWORD----> USER PREFERENCES from normaly MODE to PERSONAL
PREFERENCES windows does remmber the data. but now a password is required to enter windows.

In the past the AutoComplete fuction worked perfectly in the normaly mode.

The typical fix is:
The autocomplete history is corrupt. To clear forms and passwords information, go to Tools>InternetOptions, click the Content tab, click the AutoComplete button, and choose Clear Forms and Clear Passwords.

The navigate to:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

If there are still encrypted value listed, delete these as well.

The ControlPanel>Passwords icon has nothing to do with Internet Explorer.
