Can't boot from hard drive

I am having trouble booting my hard drive. Can't boot in safe mode. Doesn't even see Windows. Turned off my system, the next day turned it on, it had a drive in, took the disk out, then rebooted and got an error that said, "Invaild systems disk". Can't do anything now. Can anyone help ????????
