Unwanted image

Using Windows 98 w/IE: Lately when I open my computer an unwanted image appears. It is shaped in the form of a circle, colored light blue with the outter edge a dark blue. It covers 95% of the screen. I would like to correct this situation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

if it appears before windows loads and you have a QDI motherboard enter in the BIOS a look for an option called "Show boot logo" and disable it, if appears while windows is loading look for the winlogo.sys (is hidden) and open it with the paint, if appear the [censored] image replace it without changing dimensions by other.
