I have been having a problem, where my Remote Access users are dialing a "1" before any number they dial. It doesn't matter what the number is, and dialing properties do not have any information telling it to dial a "1", nor do the Area Code Rules. This even happens if it is a long distance number. so if the number is 18005551234, it dials 118005551234. Is this somewhere in the Registry? I have searched without success, please help.

Thank you

Check your location settings.
To check your location settings
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Telephony.
On the My Locations tab:
Verify that your area code and country code are correct.
Verify that the options for dialing from this location are correct.
Try the call again.
If the location you are currently dialing from is not listed, create a new location.
To create a new location

Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Telephony.
On the My Locations tab, click New, and then click OK.
Verify that your area code and country code are correct.
Verify that the settings for how you dial from this location are correct.
Try the call again.
Did this action solve the problem?
Yes.
No.
I'd like to skip this step and try something else.

Thanks
