restoring my docs

i deleted the "my docs" folder and i want to know how to retrieve it. it's still on my computer but it's in a different form, how do i change it back to a folder?

Have you checked "recycle bin".

did you try to open Windows Explorer, then Tools menu > Options, choose the View tab, then look thru the options - you should find one that lets you put My Documents on the desktop.

Does that help (or did you delete the My Documents folder in your profile the C:\Windows directory) ?
