I am helping a friend who had a problem with windows 98. A file was deleted and it would not start. Dell had her reinstall windows without formatting the hard drive. All the other programs (Word, Excel etc.) are still there except they will not run. Do they all need to be reinstalled or is there anther way to solve the problem. Thank you in advance for the help.
